Banks Power is Hiring a Maintenance Worker (electrical focused) Near Azusa, CA

Turbocharged high-performance engine developer and manufacturer, Banks Power, is looking for a hard-working Maintenance Worker to help maintain our facilities by performing both preventive and reactive maintenance tasks. This position will focus on basic electrical work while performing other tasks including light carpentry and light plumbing work. You will work closely with Maintenance Coordinator. Schedule: 7am-4pm.

Main responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance per work order or instructions from supervisor, maintenance coordinator, or management staff.
  • Provide general electrical help including changing light bulbs, installing conduit, electrical circuits, receptacles, switches and fuses, hanging light fixtures in the facilities, handling electrical repair, etc.
  • Handle light plumbing repair.
  • Paint interior and/or exterior of our facilities. Wash and prep surfaces prior to painting. Repair drywalls as needed.
  • Assemble/move office furniture and work stations, mount/move wall-attached items such as pictures, cabinets or posters ensuring items are secure, level and centered.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Follow safety policies and ensure the safest working conditions.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in general maintenance including electrical, painting and plumbing.
  • Possess basic knowledge on hand tools and power tools.
  • Ability to carry or lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders.
  • Willing to periodically travel to central California for the duration of a week.

Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Hourly pay

$20—$25 USD

Actual pay offered to candidates will depend on several factors, including but not limited to, relevant candidates' experience, education, and specific knowledge, skills, and abilities.
